Wellness in the Workplace
With the never ending demands of the workplace, it is important to develop skills and use daily tools to keep balance. These wellness sessions will provide employees with tools that they can apply to both the workplace and their personal lives.
Each class uses data-backed strategies to settle the nervous system and clear the mind, and can alleviate psycho social hazards affecting workers, such as anxiety, depression, and burn out.
Participants will learn simple yet powerful tools to face the challenges of the day with more ease and less stress.
These classes are designed to create as a safe and calm environment to

- Increase emotional intelligence
- Encourage better relationships

Each class will include....

- A few minutes to check in with the body and use simple movements from practices such as Qigong and somatic movement. There is no experience or equipment necessary. Each movement can be done standing or in the comfort of a chair, and are suitable for every age and every level of physical fitness and flexibility. Low-impact, slow-motion, relaxing, fluid movement sequences (often called “the flow”)

- Breathing exercises to slow the heart and the mind and keep the body relaxed through out the day.

- An easy to follow guided meditation to promote greater relaxation, sharper focus. No experience needed to receive the benefits from these meditations. Meditation is the progressive quietening of the fluctuations of the mind. It allows us to quieten the thoughts in our ever-busy minds and operate from a place of strength, calmness and compassion. The more frequently we tap into that quiet, the better equipped we are to face ordinary and extra-ordinary challenges.

- Advanced brainwave technology using theta and gamma frequencies to en-train the brain in to a deeper meditative state. Just a few minutes of listening to these frequencies is the equivalent of an hour of deep meditation.

- Time after the class to reflect on anything you need to before moving back in to your day.
